My very first giveaway!!

I've mentioned before that I have a Disney fetish. So imagine my excitement when the fine folks at Mom Central asked me to help spread the word about the upcoming Disney on Ice shows in southwest Ohio! AND they're letting me give away four tickets to the show's opening night in Cincinnati on Wednesday, Sept. 23!

Disney on Ice Celebrates 100 Years of Magic will be at Hara Arena in Dayton Sept. 17-20, and at US Bank Arena in Cincinnati Sept. 23-27. Evening shows are at 7 p.m. in Dayton, 7:30 p.m. in Cncinnati, with weekend matinees available at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. in Dayton, and 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. in Cincinnati. For more information about show times and ticket prices, log on to Ticketmaster.

But, if you're feeling lucky, get your tickets right here for the 7:30 p.m. show in Cincinnati on Sept. 23! Here's how to enter:
  • Leave a comment here telling me what your favorite Disney movie is. I can't promise I won't argue with you if you pick one that is NOT one of my favorites. :)
  • If you're on Twitter, tweet about this giveaway and leave a separate comment with a link to your Twitter URL. and I will pick a winner on Sept. 4. The good news for you, dear reader, is that I don't have that many readers -- so your chances of winning are GREAT!!

What to do if you don't win your tickets here? Purchase a 4-pack of tickets for only $44 for weekday shows, or receive $4 off weekend tickets by logging onto Ticketmaster and entering the coupon code: MOM.

By the way, if you haven't heard of Mom Central, you should check them out. They're an online community for moms, where members can discuss parenting topics, sample products, take surveys, and connect with other moms across the country. It's a very cool site, and they're very cool people for allowing Ellie and me to attend the show in Cincinnati AND invite our friends.

Enter early and enter often! I can't wait to announce the winner!

  1. Hmmm....I was going to say The Lion King, because I love the music. But, in fairness to J, I must say that my favorite Disney movie is the original Jungle Book.

  2. Does Mary Poppin's count. Not really a cartoon but still one of my favorites.

  3. I have to say I have too many favorite animated Disney movies to mention but my favorite non-animated Disney movies is the original Swiss Family Robinson and any of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies (anyone notice a theme here??)

  4. It has to be Cinderella. It's a classic. And my girls are in love with Cinderella right now. Who doesn't want a prince to sweep in and solve everything?

  5. We love the Cars movie. My son is five and has watched it since he was two and it is still his favorite movie. I think we must have every diecast character by now!!

  6. Ella says the movie Up (Disney/Pixar) which we just saw last weekend and enjoyed. Aiden would go for Cars b/c he LOVES it. Ava says Lion King. I would pick something romantic like Cinderella or Beauty and the Beast. I'd agree w/Tammy -who doesn't want Prince Charming to sweep them off their feet?

  7. I would have to say Ratatouille. Not many saw this film but it is very enjoyable and Iyla LOVES it. Great for kids and adults!!

  8. Ok, I pick Lady and the Tramp, followed closely by the Aristocats. Non-animated, the Love Bug.

    Lee Ann

  9. my all time favorite would still be Beauty and the Beast!!!
